This picture caught my eye because of the quality of the shot. The subject (Brendon Urie) is perfectly in focus, while the fire is blurred. The spotlight also creates a very cool contrast of warm and cool colors. I also like how "full" the image looks. Aside from a small portion in the top right corner, there's almost no dead space in the shot.

I discovered this picture after a friend recommended I look up this photographer's Instagram. From there, I went to his website and browsed around. I found this photo under his "Switzerland" gallery. I am very drawn to nature photography (specifically landscapes) so this caught my eye immediately. I love the reflection of the mountains in the lake. I also love how calm and untouched the water looks. The way the mountain appears to cut through the clouds is also very cool.

I found this picture when it came up in my Instagram feed. It caught my eye because of how focused the shot is. The rotors of the helicopter are almost completely in focus, as well as the marine being pulled from the water. I also love the deep blue color of the water and the rainbow caused by the wind from the helicopter above the ocean.
